About EVS
Profile of Dick Kuizenga
I was born on July 31, 1953 in Vlaardingen, the Netherlands. I am of Dutch nationality and I am married. I started my career at the Royal Dutch Marechaussee and worked at Schiphol Airport, among other places. I have traveled all over the world to return dangerous criminals and/or illegal immigrants to their country of origin. I also protected the Dutch Royal Family at their palace 'Soestdijk' and castle 'Drakensteyn' and was a member of the anti-terrorism team.
After my transfer to the Amsterdam police, I worked at the 'Lijnbaansgracht' office, under the leadership of Commissioner Gerard Toorenaar and was also the commander of an ME team of the Royal Dutch Marechaussee.
Subsequently, I worked at the Immigration Service (specialised in forgery) and the Serious Crimes and Murder Office.
In addition, I was a volunteer at the Weesp fire brigade for 23 years.
After 15 years I was ready for the next step and set up European VIP Security bv. The combination of police and fire service is an excellent basis for offering services, training and other products in the field of security, fire safety, personal safety, company safety, evacuation, etc.
I was also chairman of the International Federation of Hotel Security management.
