Course Life-Saving Actions Course
Trouble in paradise?
In two hours you will know what to do!
Dear reader,
There are few drawbacks to living on the Costa Blanca. But what if there is "trouble in paradise"? What if you get seriously injured when pruning your garden, or your partner gets badly burnt while barbequing or someone has a heart or brain infarction on the tennis court? Do you know what to do? The hospital is usually not nearby and it may also take a while before the ambulance arrives ...
Especially in this region, first aid is half the battle and immediate action can easily make the difference between life and death. In order to ensure that as many people as possible know what to do when "something" happens and can stabilize a victim until external emergency assistance is present, I give a course of life-saving actions at cost price.
In two hours I will teach you what to do in the event of
- Unconsciousness
- Breathing and choking
- Bleeding
- Burns
- Shock
You learn to recognize when you are dealing with a
- Cerebral infarction
- Heart attack
And practice on a doll how to do CPR
- with artificial respiration (rescue breath)
- with chest compressions
- using an AED defibrillator trainer
After taking my course you will know what to do if an accident occurs or someone becomes ill. You are able to stabilize the patient - perhaps your partner, friend, or exercise buddy - until the emergency services can take over.
Would you like to know more or register directly for the course?
Send an email today to dick@europeanvipsecurity.es. If you indicate which days and which part of the day you prefer, you will receive a number of possible dates from me. I teach this course - in Dutch or English - in the practice room at our house in Javea. The costs are 30 euros per person including digital course material. A maximum of eight people can participate per course.
Would you rather call to discuss how together we can make our living environment safer? Or do you have other questions about first aid or resuscitation? You can reach me at + 31 650503708.
Hope to see you in Xabia,
Dick Kuizenga
This is what students say about my course in life-saving actions
‘Very clear and very instructive. Everyone should take this course.’
‘Recommended course.’
‘Very clear and hopefully we will never need to use this knowledge.’
‘Great course Dick, learned a lot from it’
‘Good job Dick’
‘The life-saving actions course led by Dick is a must for everyone, every human life counts!’
‘The course was more in-depth than I expected. The Rautek and Heimlich maneuver will not or very seldom occur within my movement and conditioning training programs. I was pleased with the information that was received regarding broken bones, bruises, vertebral injuries, and consciousness disturbances and perhaps I'll revisit this info with a group. Thank you very much for the clear insight into your special reality and .... the notebook can go away. All the best Dick Suer’
